「民族州」紛争，極西部でも

極西部で「民族州」分割派と反分割派が対立，２週間にわたってバンダ(ゼネスト)が続き，大混乱となっている。空港・道路封鎖，官庁・学校・商店も休業。食糧・医薬品不足が深刻になってきた。

「民族州」要求の最強硬派は「タルー共闘委員会」。「タルー自治州」設立が目標だ。これに対し，反分割派は，非マオイスト系の諸集団。女性，労働者，農民，ダリットらが，分割反対ゼネストを闘っている。

攻守交代。先述のように，「民族」を「革命」にさんざん利用してきたのがマオイスト。いまさら「タルー自治州」弾圧に回るわけに行かないだろう。それとも，われらがプラチャンダ，人民解放軍の次に「民族」を切り捨て，革命を終息させるのだろうか？

西でも東でも，「民族州」紛争拡大。次は，いよいよ北か?

●マオイストの１０民族州案 （ekantipur,2012-04-27）
　1. Limbuwan-Mechi: Including all of Mechi zone and Dharan in Sunsari district, along with some hill areas of Morang district. The proposed state also consists of some parts of Sankhuwasabha district
　2. Kirat Koshi: Areas west of Limbuwan including those from Likhu to Arun area
　3. Tamsaling Indrawati: Areas west of Ramechhap up to Budigandaki
　4. Madhes Birat: Areas from Morang to Parsa except those north of the former
　5. Newa Bagmati: Areas consisting of Kathmandu Valley along with Banepa and Dhulikhel
　6. Tamuwan Gandak: Areas from Gorkha including Kaligandaki to the southern parts of Tanahu
　7. Magarat Dhaulagiri: Areas starting from south of Syanga to west of Kaligandaki up to Rukum
　8. Karnali state: Includes all of Karnali zone and parts of Bheri zone
　9. Seti Mahakali: Some northern parts of Kailali and Kanchanpur districts along with entire upper part of the two districts
　10. Tharuwan Lumbini: Areas stretching from Kanchanpur to Nawalparasi district
　* Chitwan district: To be federally administered
