中国，TUに地理研究センター設立

中国科学院（CAS)が，トリブバン大学（TU)と協力し，TU内に「中国・ネパール地理共同研究センター」を設立した。ヒマラヤの南北地域の研究が目的。

ここで注目すべきは，研究センター設立に関する記事のニュアンスが，中国側とネパール側ではかなり異なること。ネパール側記事は中国側原記事の要約ということだろうが，その要約の仕方が微妙だ。下記CAS記事の赤字の部分のニュアンスが，おそらく意識的にカットされている。なかなか興味深い。

The center, jointly built by IMHE and TU, will carry out geographical research of mountain hazards, mountain ecology and environment monitoring of the southern and northern slopes of the Himalayas. The collaboration aims to promote science and technology exchange between China and Nepal.

Dr. Deng Wei, director of IMHE, hailed the founding of the geography center as an important platform for enhancing the quality of scientific education in Nepal.
